The Detroit Artists Market (DAM) is pleased to present the Biannual All Media Exhibition 2016. Opening Friday, April 29th, 2016, DAM will host a public opening and awards reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This year, the DAM invited MaryAnn Wilkinson, Exhibitions Director at the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning; and Adjunct Curator of Modern Art, University of Michigan Museum of Art to select from over 200 pieces of artwork submitted for consideration. The All Media Exhibition will feature a wide array of work from 64 local artists.
Biannual All Media Exhibition runs from Friday, April 29th through Saturday, May 28rd, 2016. Opening Reception: Friday, April 29th 6:00pm – 9:00pm.

Juror, MaryAnn Wilkinson, holds two positions at the University of Michigan: Exhibitions Director at the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning; and Adjunct Curator of Modern Art, University of Michigan Museum of Art. As a consulting curator to UMMA, she advises on acquisitions and other issues regarding the modern art collection. In addition, she is an independent scholar and curator who specializes in modern and contemporary art.
From painting to assemblage to fiber, the DAM Biennial showcases the wide range of media and techniques used by local artists. It’s exciting to see and jury all this fine work. – MaryAnn Wilkinson
